So did Josei Next Door, but she impressively managed to shave her watch-list down to just six! I’m trying, but it’s hard: so far I want to stick with Ushio & Tora and Ace Attorney (I’m reviewing them both for ANN), Joker Game, Kiznaiver, Space Patrol Luluco, My Hero Academia, Flying Witch, and Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto! What are you watching?

• Perhaps instead I should just read this Wikihow article: How To Get Over An Anime Addiction. The illustrations are (perhaps unintentionally) hilarious.

• Last post, I mentioned starting a new company with a friend. It’s called Fanspeak Interactive, and we help companies reach out to fandom communities. I was not planning to start a company until Aja began emailing me in Tokyo—we already had clients! It’s been an exciting week.

• Could Japanese cartoons be the key to racial understanding in Milwaukee? I feel like that’s a little optimistic, but I’m always interested in hearing about American fan demographics.

• Sweden is only the latest country to make it a crime to own the wrong kind of manga. Ever since I wrote about the risks tied to owning erotic manga in America and Canada, I’ve kept an eye out for this.

• Exactly how I made $36K by style blogging as a side hustle last year. Side hustles + making money as a blogger are two of my favorite things to read about it. It can be done.
